Pacific Tape publishes general information and commentary about Korean equities and related markets. It is not investment, financial, legal or tax advice, and it is not a recommendation or solicitation to buy, sell or hold any security. No adviser–client relationship is created by reading it. No individual advice
Content is published to everyone who visits, without regard to who is reading. Questions about an individual reader's holdings, timing or circumstances are not answered through any channel.
Accuracy and availability
We try to get things right, but content is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. Market data in charts consists of exchange prices: Korea Exchange closing prices, including figures from the KRX Open API credited as Korea Exchange statistics, Taiwan Stock Exchange closing prices (TWSE OpenAPI), Tokyo Stock Exchange closing prices and US exchange closing prices (the US market maps follow the membership of the S&P 500, the Nasdaq-100, the Dow Jones Industrial Average and the PHLX Semiconductor Sector Index and GICS sectors, with shares outstanding from SEC filings). Exchange rates and foreign investors' net buying (KRX figures) come from the Bank of Korea (ECOS), except the intraday market rates on the band at the top of each page, whose moves are measured against the ECOS close; the Disclaimer describes these sources, and each chart states its source and as-of time. Figures may be delayed, incomplete or later revised by their source. The site may change or be unavailable at any time. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss arising from use of or reliance on the site, including any trading or investment loss.
